Secret Platinum Protection and Degree
Has anyone ever tried Secret Platinum(for ladies...)
or Degree deodorants? I guess they are my favorite kinds. I just go to the drug store and buy which ever one I see first. You have probably seen them being advertised on television I guess.

Secret Platinum Protection is heavily marketed towards teenaged girls. I see advertisements for it every time I read a teen magazone or a fashion magazine. It comes in all these different scents like "optimism" "ambition" and "genuine". I have to admit that they smell pretty good...but how can a scent be "optimistic" or have "ambition". I think that is kind of funny. I think it also comes in "fresh spring breeze" or an unscented formula. I tried the unscented version one time and found that it did have a bit of a smell to it, not a very pleasent one at that. It smelled pretty bad when you sniffed at the stick of it, but once you had it on for a bit you couldn't really smell it. It is also pH balanced, which is always good. You know the secret slogan..."Strong enough for a man, but made for you", why would a man really want to be smelling like "spring time flowers" and what not. I think that is kinda funny too.

Anyways, Degree deodorant is pretty good as well. I always use it after gym class. It smells pretty good. You can also buy those nifty little travel ones that fit nicely in your gym bag and stuff. Thats always good.

For anyone that has made it this far into my article, heres a few questions to ponder:

1. Does spray-on deodorant work better than roll on or a stick?
2. Why do we care about the smell of deodorant when what we really should be worrying about is the smell it is preventing us from smelling?
3. What is the difference between anti-perspirant and deodorant?
4. Have you ever tried dove deodorants?

Wow, I can't believe I wrote a whole article on deodorant. Thanks for reading this.

I always use Secret Platinum. It's the only deoderant that really keeps me from sweating too much. Its the best deoderant I've ever used.

1. i have tried spray on deodorant and i personally don't like it...i think it's not nearly as strong as regular deodorant...
2. not everyone cares about the smell of deodorants...considering their job is just to cover up smells butt i think it's good to have a good smelling deodorant because if you're going to be covering up B.O. with something, it should smell good, right??
3. i'm only telling you what i read in a magazine about the difference between anti-persperants and deodorant... deodorant indeed covers up the smell butt also reduces the actual amount of sweat that is kept on the skin... whereas anti-persperants are suppposed to stop you from sweating all together and honestly you'd think that this would be an extremely good thing (especially for in the future) butt i read in this magazine (where i got all my info) that it has and could cause breast cancer...weird huh?? i've stopped using anti-persperants just in case...
4. i use dove deodorant (with 1/4 moisturizer) and i like it because it makes my under arms feel very soft to the touch (which sounds really, really weird) butt the thing is (first of all) it isn't the longest lasting deodorant i've tried... and second...who's really gonna feel your armpit?? i know the commercials say that it's supposed to make them look better butt i haven't noticed a difference at all...butt they do smell good !!!

I :) Secret Platinum Protection! It works great and the fragrances smell so good! To answer some of your questions. My understanding is an anti-perspirant is really better than just a deodorant because it helps stop you from sweating and a deodorant just covers it with a smell. I think anyway. I may have to call that toll free number on my Secret and ask them to make sure. One thing though, I think a lot of people like me like to use an anti-perspirant that smells good. And I agree with you, how can a deodorant have ambition and stuff? We ought to call that toll free number on the product and ask them. And also maybe ask them about their slogan too?
