Am I the only one concerned about Certain Dri?
realized I had B.O.!!! So ever since then I've been kind of paranoid about it.  I talked to an online dermatologist who recommended Certain Dri.  I don't sweat excessively, just normal.  I'm kind of afraid of trying Certain Dri because I'm kinda afraid in the future they'll find that blocking up your pores or whatever is bad and that people using it are going to have a disease or a shorter life or certain side effects and stuff.  I mean sweating is natural, and all that stuff has to come out somewhere.  So wouldn't it be bad blocking that all up??  Am I the only one concerned about using Certain Dri?  How long do the pores stay plugged up?  This is kinda long, but PLLLLEASE HELP ME!!!  I don't want to be stinky! :)

Hey!! Yeah, I know, it's TERRIBLE isn't it??!!!! You actually get b.o.? Sorry I didn't see your message sooner!!! I'll e-mail all this to you too ^_^ , and I'm sorry for not posting all this sooner for everyone!!!!

Well, the online dermatologist recommended the Almay Solid Wide Stick Unscented Deodorant/Antipersperant but that didn't work. So I finally told someone and they took me to the doctor and they prescribed me Drysol. It works SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good (because it stops the sweating where you apply it, and without the sweat the bacteria can't thrive or whatever, and the bacteria is what causes the b.o.), although there are sometimes I think I might smell b.o. It hurt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad too when I first started using it. And it itched a little too. Right now it pretty much only itches, but I think it's not rubbing in as well. (I hope it is!!!!!!!) It makes where you apply it on the skin all red and darker than your other skin and dry, tight, and sore. Anyway, (sorry! ^_^) I've been using that and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT because it is WONDERFFFUULLLLL not having to worry about if I have b.o. or not!!!!!! Well, I can't wait to hear from you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. When and how did you first find out you had b.o.???

P.S. I couldn't get the wide cuz I couldn't find it any stores, and I only found the Almay Solid Stick (Unscented) in one store and the online dermatologist said that wuz fine.

Well, I got the Almay Solid Stick Unscented (not wide) and it didn't work for me. My armpits smelled a LITTLE like b.o. but the underarm area of my shirt smelled really bad!!!!!! I put it on, and then played a video game and I got a little sweaty in my underarms, and not even an hour after I had put it on, both underarm areas of my shirt smelled really bad (b.o.). It did prevent me from sweating in my underarms pretty good though. So I told the online dermatologists I was talking to and one fowarded my "case" to the other and he's going to get back to me so I'll post what he tells me when I get the e-mail!!

But I don't sweat excessively, just normally, so I don't know if I really need it.

I've tried a TON of deodorants, and I haven't found one that works yet!!! It's terrible having to worry about this all the time!! Well, actually, I've been using Crystal Clean Deodorant by Mennen (Softly Scented) and on top of that I use baking soda!! It works really well!!! I talked to some online dermatologists and the two I got replies from both highly recommended Almay Wide Solid Unscented Deodorant so I'm going to give it a try! Actually, it's REALLLLLY hard to find, I've looked all over, and found the Almay Solid but not the wide solid. So anyways, after I buy the Almay Solid, I'll write back and let you all know how it went! Ciao!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you are, try using a different kind of deodorant.
