What's with guys and shaving?

I don't get it. Guys are beginning to become like girls. My brother for example, shaves his armpits and also uses the pores thing to take away blackheads. He uses my Nadir products too. He is so weird. In his school he says that boys shave their armpits. What the? My brother says girls don't like guys with hairy armpits. Well that is true, but it's not like them to go stick their underarm in your face. It's also true that you use less deodorant too. I think he's going to shave his legs next; it causes less friction. What do you people think with guys shaving? Please reply.

I've been shaving my legs, pits, pubes, and arms for years now...My girlfriend likes it, I like it, and it's cleaner than having thick nasty body hair to catch all kinds of dirt and hold onto sweat. I had actually forgotten that most guys don't shave their pits until a few weeks ago when we had a friend over and he exposed his pit-bush...it was gross.

I don't mind guys shaving places other than their faces but it's not all that socially acceptable these days so you have to be brave. I tried shaving my legs, pits and pubes once in the winter so no one would notice and it felt pretty to be so smooth plus it looked good. I trim my pits and pubes now so it's not out of control and it's much faster than shaving. Having a lot of arm pit hair leads to a smelly situation and can look pretty gross in my opinion.

if guys shave thier pits' +faces thats ok... but if they shave thier legs id be really freaked out

Well, I'm another guy that shaves. I don't shave all things you know. I'M NOT A GIRL. I just shave stuff that would make me look better. I shave my armpits and I keep my pubic hair trimmed and cut in shapes. But I'm not goin to shave my legs for any reason. That would make me freak. Sorry!

I think it's okay for them to shave their chest(i don't really like hairy chests for some reason)but i find it queer when they shave their underarms and legs...and about the pore pack, i think it's okay for a guy to use that...what's wrong with wanting to rid your face of blackheads?

You should be proud of him! He cares about his appearance and looks up to you. You should him and encourage him to shave just like you do. Help him get a good razor and good shaving cream. Tell him what works best for you and see if he would like to use the same kind of razor and shaving cream you use.

guys should shave!!! then they can go thru the pain we go thru :D well, anywhere but not legs...or pits, haha, i guess that leaves facial and pubic. i'd personally prefer guys shaving their pubic hair. hahahaha! but hairy legs on guys aren't that too :/ it's so hard to decide.

I'm a guy and I shave my legs and underarms. It feels great and I look better too! Deodorant goes on and works a lot better when you shave your pits. It does no good when you just put it on hairy pits because it doesn't get to the skin where you start sweating. That's why alotta guys stink so bad, they don't shave their pits. My mom got me to shaving my pits and then she showed me how to shave my legs. I having soft and silky smooth legs!

that's not mega star down their ya know. it's 'the imposter'. i don't mind if guys shave. this one guy on tv one time shaved his chest, underarms, legs, and i'm not sure but i think his arms too. anyways he looked great. i'm just saying that it isn't all that weird.

Were I live the majority of the guys shave there arm pits, legs, stomach, etc. It doesnt bother me, the guys jus wanna look good too! Girls shave, and put on makeup and use all those buty products to look good for guys, and guys jus wanna be more attractive as well!!!
