WAXING HELP
Hey everyone!
I have decided to start waxing and need some help.
First of all, let me tell you why I decided not to shave any more. Well, my birthday party was happening in half an hour and I had to take a bath and shave, because I was planning on wearing shorts. Since I was in a hurry, I decided to shave in the shower standing up instead of sitting down in a bath to shave, then take a shower. THAT was a big mistake! I ended up getting a massive cut that was about 2 inches long and it took 10 minutes to stop bleeding. Good thing my guy friends understood. Since then, which was a week ago tomorrow, I have been afraid to shave, lol. Sound kind of strange I know.
What I really need to now is...
how long does waxing work until you have to do it again?

Can you do the bikini area yourself and does it leave bumps and ingrown hairs? What can you do to help them if that happens?

How long might it take? Is it really hard to get some areas?

Are there any really good creams out there so that I don't have to go through the waxing pain?

How well does sugaring work?

Last of all, has anyone tried the new Veet mousse? If you have, how well does it work?

Well if you can answer any of my questions please do because I really need the help!

Hey Sharie! i often wax and let me tell you, it does hurt. some areas more than others.i find my bikini line hurts more than my arm pits. the only area in which i don't wax are my legs ( i shave them ) waxing usually lasts about 3 weeks to a month, unless your hair grows super quick! you can do your bikini line yourself, but its very hard. i get my mom to do it for me (i'm not too close with her, but, its better than having to do it 3 times in a row because you don't pull it off hard enough) if all your hair grows one way, and you wax, it shouldn't leave ingrown hairs but, it will be red and have afew little bumps for maybe a day or two. when i wax, i only get bumps for not even a full day. what you can do to make the bumps go away quicker and sooth your skin is use this blue oil (it should come with a waxing kit). just make sure not to get it on your clothes or sheets . you can also (my sister told me this tidbit) use baby powder before you wax to you wont pull on as much skin when you rip, and you will hold on to the hairs better. don't use too much though. you could use nair or something like that, but it doesn't work for me. my friend left nair on her arms too long and she got a sever chemical burn all on her forearms and she had it for at least a week. i've heard that sugaring hurts more than waxing does, but i'm not too too sure on it. if you decide to wax your bikini line and your arm pits, it doesn't normally take too too long. whenever i do it, it takes ten minutes at the most (most of that time is me chickening out and deciding to do it again). but for a tip on doing your bikini line, shave the area you want to wax ONLY, afew days before waxing because it is easier to know where exactly you have to wax. if you feel you want to ask me anything else concerning it (i'll try my best to answer), just feel free to email me at:
