Bikini Line
Hey, I just shaved my bikini line and now I have all these red itchy bumps. (For all you people who are having problems with razors, get the Venus Razor, it's so awesome, works so well) I've tried things to get rid of them, but they won't work. I hate them so much because they just look really gross. Maybe they're just ingrown hairs or maybe it's just not used to being shaved down there. I don't know but I need a solution, something to get rid of my bumps. If anyone out there has any type of advice to get rid of these bumps, I would really really appreciate it.

Hey! Oh ya the red itchy bumps are ingrown hairs...i got them too and was really worried about them but then found out that tehre's no need to worry...mine don't go away very easily and they just come back everytime i shave my bikini line so i use "Nair Bikini Hair Removal" which is just a cream that removes it without givin me ingrown hairs.

Ohhh! I LOOOOVVVE the Venus razor! :) It works like a charm. Ever since I've started using it, I haven't cut myself once yet! And for the bikini line bumps, they'll go away. Mine did and I haven't gotten them since! :) I think it's just because your skin isn't used to it yet and what not. Good Luck!

*sigh* yet another person fallen under the spell of the evil venus razor. i about bled to death when i used that!!! anyway. i have those bumps too. if you're into the alloette scene, try ordering some Visible Aid (i think that's what it's called, and i'm too lazy to get up and go see) anyway. it helps mine quite a bit. try http://www.alloette.com well, hope i was of some help. later!!

OK! I just read in a magazine what on can help you. Soak a washcloth in whole milk and gently place it on the affected area for about 10 minutes. Rewet cloth and repeat 2 more times. Then aply hydrocortisone cream. I'm not sure if it works but it's worth a try!

The thing is you should have started shaving it once your hair started to grow down there. Then it would have always been smooth. I bet if you continue shaving though, the bumps will go away eventually...
