Nail Growth!

My nails are really short. Lately I have been biting on my nails which is totally gross! I usually bite on my nails when I am upset or nervous. Maybe I'm nervous about school or upset about something. I want my nails to be longer when school starts. I tried acrylics before and they were great but I want to save my money this year. I think my nails can look just as good as acrylics by just being natural. The problem is I only have two and a half weeks for my nails to grow and I don't think they will be as long as I want them to be. I think I need some kind of polish to make them grow faster or some home made recipe. Does anyone know any polish or home made polish/hand treatment to make my nails grow longer and faster? I really need your advice! Thanks!

ive heard before that if you massage your nail beds everyday, it will them grow faster. just massage each nail for ten seconds, and your nails should start to grow! also, try pushing back your cuticles everyday.

i know the exact thing to use! its called Sally Hansen nail growth polish! it's in a gold bottle, and u can find it anywhere u find nail polish! 1) u have to take any polish off of ur nails 2) scrub them with soap and water to get off any oils 3) dry ur hands really well 4) apply nail growth polish to ur nails only one coat or else it will peel (trust me) 5) repeat this process every two days and i promise ur nails will be growing in no time! i use it all the time and my nails are really long! u may wanna get "Hard as Nails" nail polish to keep them strong (Sally Hansen)! hope this s! =)

Hey. Just to tell you I have the same problem! I don't know any nail polish that makes nails grow, but, I know a solution! 1. Put this really nasty tasteing nail polish on, I dont know the name for it though but it is ment to have people stop chewing their nails. It will be at drug stores. 2. Always clean uder your nails, and rub under them alot. 3. wash your hands alot!

i know! my nails sux. every time they grow to medium length they chip on me.. but ya, maybe you should drink lots of water and use a keritan based lotion cause keritan is a protein which s your nails grow. maybe i should practice what i preach.....

i like the hard as nail products ever since the strengthener ed make my fragile nails stronger. i used to bite my nails constantly to the point that my fingertips were raw. the way i stopped was instead of bitting them i started chipping off nailpolish... now, i finally have the long healthy nails that i always wanted! i hope this works for you, ^_^. good luck!
