I want to be tanned for the summer, but my mom doesn't let me go tanning because she's afraid I'll get skin cancer. she lets me use self tanners though.

I've tried Banana Boat EveryDay Glow Daily Moisturizer for Fair Skin, and I think that works very good. It slowly darkens your skin while moisturizing without looking fake or too dramatic. You can control how dark you want to be by applying more everyday.
It also has vitamins A, E, and C in it to help prevent your skin from aging.

Personally, I think this one is great. If anybody else is having the same problems as me (mom isn't letting you go tanning), then I really think you should get her to look into buying this. It's also a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. I bought it for only $6.67.

Does anybody else have recommendations for self tanners for me. Thanks a lot!

I use jergens tanning lotion.. works great.. ive gotten compliments on my tan... I dont have the same problem with my mom but tanning is not safe.. i know people who have gotten skin cancer and other skin damage from using a bed.. my sister used to tan in a bed.. then her skin started to spot from the bed.. i just prefer not to.. so use lotion... plus with lotion you wont burn... u choose ur tan... you can cover your whole body, no tan lines.. its cheaper.. takes less time..do it at home, i usually do it after i get out of the shower at night...and you dont have to worry about cancer..

I go tanning so I don't really have this problem. I suggest buying Paradise Gold Tanning Lotion and tanning outside. You may not think so but self tanners no matter what look orange.

I use an estee lauder tanner. It works well.
