Why Wear Make-Up?!

Why wear make-up? I only wear lip gloss, and now I've gotten to the point where I don't need it. I feel make-up is sometimes worn because of low self esteem. Others have their reasons, like covering up pimples or whatever. But why wear it to impress boys? If they really like you, it shouldn't be for your looks. All girls are naturally beautiful whether on the inside or out! So why do you wear make-up!? Do you have low self esteem or what? Send me a message on what you felt about my article. I've wondered why some girls put on a lot of make-up. I came up with boys, embarrassed, don't like their looks, or want to be older. There are many reasons why. What's yours?!

I wear makeup on a daily basis.. well when my son allows me time to put it on.. i dont really need it.. my skin is flawless most days.. but i do get an occasional pimple or blemish.. so then i use cover up.. but i mostly wear lipgloss and eye makeup.. here is why.. i the glossy look of my lips and i have great eyes but i wear glasses.. so they get covered.. so eye make up is great in making them stand out more.. plus i getting all the comments on how good my makeup looks

I see your point... i have tried to put on make-up on, but i feel like i don't look right. I feel more comfortable without it, i'm not worrying about looking like a clown. I'm also worried because my mom tells me if i put make-up your skin ages much more faser because of clogged pores, idk.

I honestly rarely wear make up.. i usually dont need it.. ill wear coverup (trueblend by cover girl, because i dont use it often so it can work through out the year when my skin tone changes) when my skin gets red and blotchy... Ill wear eye make up when i feel like it because i wear glasses and it s attract to my eyes.. and ill wear lip gloss just cuz it looks .. but even so i still only put it on like 1x a week... if im going out for public relations or someplace that i may be p ographed because it looks so much better on camera

i wear make up because i enjoy it. I don't wear foundation because I don't get pimples, I don't have low self-esteem at all, and i have a boyfriend who s me whether or not I wear make up. Just because you wear make up does not mean any of those things. I wear make up because I want to. It is pretty ignorant to assume everyone that does it has low self esteem.

I wear makeup because I like to. I'm really into cosmetics and I think it's to wear makeup and experiment with different colors and brands. I don't have low self esteem and I think I'm very pretty inside and out. For me, it's just the of being feminine and experimenting with different types of cosmetics.

Ever think that perhaps some people like it? I don't think anyone wears makeup "to impress boys". If they do, I hope they exit the gene pool. Frankly, I find that people who don't wear makeup or only wear "natural" makeup are more likely to lack self-esteem (or at least creativity - they often go hand in hand).

well i just were make up to make my face look , your right every girl is beutiful but they just wear make up to look . You wear mascara to maybe make your eye lashes look bigger thicker and blacker. eye liner just makes your eyes look better. foundation isn't very good because it clogs your spots, but thats only if you dont get it off before you go to bed. So if you want to wear make up get it off before you go to bed, if you dont it might give you spots. Hope this s x

iya i dont wear alot of makeup, 1 cus ma dad wud kill me and 2 it dont suit me :P all i wear is a bit of mascara and eyeliner thanks 2 kayla and annie who tod me 2 and now i look good but if u wear make up , a ton of makeup i think you dont lke yourself to be truthfull and u dont like the way you look
