What's the Deal with Self Tanning Lotion?
I mean, yeah, it smells good. But does it really tan? No, it doesn't. It gets so annoying for people like me, who don't really tan, just get burned. All it is is a bunch of glitter. What a complete waste. I mean, just say that you have glitter inside. Why bother to lie and say that it gives you a slight tan? The only reason they say so is to charge you more. That's just horrible. Things cost too much now as it is. Don't waste your money. If you want to tan, get naked and lie in your backyard. If you're not okay with getting naked, wear a swimsuit. But you DON'T need to waste your money on stuff like THAT.

Actually I had the same situation a couple years ago. I got a tanning lotion and it was just basically tanning oil which is supposed to make people tan FASTER, if they go out in the sun. It's not going to do anything if you just sit at home and wait for it to work. But the actual tanning lotions like Neutrogena or Coppertone definately work! Try the ones in spray, they cost $10-$12 usually. ANd please don't go out in the sun, you are just going to damage your skin and look old and wrinkley when you're older.

Self tanning lotions defenitely work.. but why do girls work so hard on tanning when all the guys care about is the white parts!!!

Well, I am very pale and there are some tanning lotions that give you a decent tan. The sun can be bad news.
