How to Tame Curly, Thick, Frizzy Hair
Hello everyone! My name is Allison, and I am here to tell you how to control your curly, thick, frizzy hair without putting a lot of effort into it or fighting. Now trust me, this stuff really works. I have the thickest hair, you wouldn't even believe it. My hair also has a ton of waves, and curls. The top layer is sleek and shiny, and the bottom layer is very coarse and frizzy. It is absolutely horrible. And of course everyone these days is wearing their hair stick straight. My hair just would not do that. I would have to put crap loads of products in it and section by section I would straighten it. Then I would sleep in it, and then I would straighten it in the morning. It took several hours. Finally one day I realized that I was blessed with my hair. I was original. No one else had my hair, so I decided to embrace it. Over the weekend a few months back, I decided to experiment on ways to wear my hair curly. Now that curly hair is coming back, here are some of my techniques that work wonders.

Loose, sleek hair:
1. Wash your hair, deep lather, rinse.
2. Condition hair, brush out with a hard bristle brush WHILE RINSING CONDITIONER OUT.
3. Rinse hair with cold water to add sleekness and to control frizz.
4. Towel dry until damp.
5. Spray hair with L'OREAL PARIS New Studio tightly wound curl boosting, curl spray gel (can be purchased at Cub, Target, and Walgreen's).
6. Piece by piece, put your hair in foam curlers.
7. After your whole head of hair is up in curlers, spritz with hair spray.
8. Sleep on it.
9. In the morning maybe blow-dry your head WITH THE CURLERS STILL IN and then spray with hair spray.
10. Remove curlers, curler by curler.
11. Lightly spritz hair with hair spray.
12. Maybe throw up a few curls with a curling iron if necessary.

"Wavy/curly I didn't even try look":
1. Shampoo hair.
2. Condition hair, brush hair while you rinse conditioner from hair, part your hair as desired in shower.
3. Towel dry hair.
4. Spray hair with L'OREAL PARIS tightly wound curl boosting spray gel.
5. Add a curl boosting CREAM, small amount throughout hair, scrunch hair with hand.
6. Add mousse and scrunch hair once again.
7. Scrunch hair with towel.
8. You're ready to go!

This is more on how to curl your hair. and most likely would only help if you do it daily. This wouldnt work if you had hair like mine. I cant wash my hair daily (really your not suppost to) because shamoo can kill your hair. and my hair is so curly that its almost impossible to get in curlers smoothly..

for extremely curly hair.. apply de-frizzer to damp hair.. and wear a scarf/wrap at night

A++++++++++++++ GREAT ARTICLE!

I do not like curly hair but this is a great way to convince others of a great way to get curly hair! You're right curly hair is coming back into the trend.

I couldn't be bothered going through all this procedure. There must be other products out there that have immediate results.
