Adding Volume to Pin-Straight Hair
I don’t know if anyone else has ever had this problem, but my hair is naturally very straight. I usually just blow-dry it and then go over the ends with a straightener quickly to keep them nice and smooth, but I want to try something new. Does anyone know any easy styling tips for straight hair to add some volume to it? I would love to be able to style my hair in loose curls with a curling iron, but whenever I try it usually just falls right out. I was wondering if anyone knows any products that seem to work for them like a gel, moose, or spray that I can try and use. Thanks for your help and can’t wait to experiment with different styles hopefully!

add volumizing mouss to roots while damp. you can still put your straighting gel in tips... then blow dry your hair upside down.. (your head upside down) that will prevent you drying hair flat to your head.. make sure hair is dry especially at roots before you comb through... if you want curls you can part damp hair in sections.. comb straight.. add hairspray and put into curlers.. sleep with them in or blow dry..

Try Tres Semme Gel. It is good and inexpensive.

Try using a volumizing mousse. I don't have trouble with volume at all, but I like to use the mousse when I dry my hair while wearing rollers. I end up with big, pretty curls with a lot of bounce.

How about a light body perm?
