You are lucky. Some of us need fake nails because our own nails are bitten off when we are worried, or they are brittle and break and look nasty. Fake nails us to show the inner goddess that we are!!

My best friend would be lost without fakes. Her nails break all the time. She is really careful to do a good job and the results are great. I'm lucky, I can grow good strong nails.

I have never gotten my nails done before but I did about 2 weeks ago, just to see what its like. I got gel nails and they aren't even that long. I told the guy who did my nails not to make them too long, because if they're too long I won't be able to write in school or do anything. My nails look really and they look very real. Nobody even knew they were fake until I told them. I don't think fake nails look that bad but if they're too colorful or very long and look like claws then they're ugly.

I agree. It's better to grow your own nails long. It looks prettier. But some people have no choice because they bite their nails too much or they break.

i picked and bit my nails for so many years as a boy that now my nails will not grow out. i need acrylic nails to my hands look feminine.

i agree with sexcbabigurl.....i just got my nails done about a week ago and i luv them ..there not to short not too long and they look verry real, but as for the long ones save em' for your witch costume at halloween,they look too unatural.

Well, I used to buy my nails a lot. Infact, I'm just recovering -- to my longer nails !! I used to get my own pack of nails from a shop and always put them on because I longed for nails. I did make them look good - better than my friends could (we were in our early and pre teens ) but they feel off and they were annoying, the damaged my real nails. I don't like them now they jsut look too fake for my liking.
I like the femininity of real nails. They look soft and make your hands ly and delicate so if you have fake nails give your real ones a chance, I found the best way to stop biting was forget all those remides people give you - just decide you're seriously stopping and stop!

I fake nails All my boyfriends tell me that they'res nothing sexier than a girl running her acrylics through their hair or down their backs during a hardcore makeout session I'll admit they can be somewhat skanky looking if you get a french manicure But if you get them cut shorter they look cute especially if they're one color

Well, I bite my mother f***ing nails off and have grit underneath them so you may find my nails even more gross than fake nails.
